The 37th International Böblinger Open took place from April 14th to April 18th 2022 in the Mercure hotel in the city of Böblingen.

Dear chessfriends,
we are very happy that we may invite you to the 37.International Böblinger Open.
For the sake of planning security for all participants and the current requirements due to the pandemic, the Böblingen Open will be held in 2G mode in consultation with the management of the Hotel Mercure and the city of Böblingen...i.e. vaccinated and recovered! (as of February 15, 2022)
The Corona rules valid at the time of the tournament and the hygiene concept of the chess club apply.
Short-term registration with payment on site is not possible.
Our playing and lodging hotel is the Mercure in Böblingen auf der Hulb. Also the exclusive ART Hotel ANA Living (annex). We thank the director Mr. Erdem Karatas for it very much.
This year you will again exclusively be entertained by our club SC-Böblingen.
The number of participants is limited to approximately 180 due to the Corona pandemic.
